Harbor's Edge (Two-Fifty Market)
This week we are featuring the Harbor's Edge Restaurant inside the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel. Located on 250 Market Street, we headed over to showcase their top notch meals crafted by Chef Garth Lyndes.

Harbor’s Edge Restaurant at Sheraton Portsmouth offers flavorful fare in a comfortable space overlooking the working Portsmouth harbor. Chef Garth Lyndes serves up delicious New England Cuisine using local seafood and produce from Maine and New Hampshire. Harbor’s Edge is a casual atmosphere with menu items ranging from $14- $36. Restaurant guests have complimentary valet parking when joining us for a meal in Harbor’s Edge, making it a convenient option in downtown Portsmouth.
What's the first dish?
The Pan Seared Diver Scallops which is made up of cumin scented Maine diver scallops over citrus tumbled tender greens and sunflower seeds.
This delicious menu item is made up of what?
The Chicken Scallopine is panko crusted and has olive oil, garlic, mushroom, fresh mozzarella, lemon basil butter sauce, creamy herb risotto, and grilled asparagus.
And for the next dish?
Up next is the Sesame Seared Salmon. It has a duet of black and white sesame seeds, Tamari ginger glaze, steamed basmati rice, and stir fried bok choy.
What's this final dish, Suzanne?
The Grilled Center Cut Filet Mignon 8oz. It's a center cut tenderloin, boursin mashed potatoes, and gorgonzola zinfandel demi glace.
We had a great time being here, Suzanne, the food was excellent! Please tell us how the Harbor's Edge restaurant includes local flavor into it's regime.
Chef Lyndes considers it very important to utilize local ingredients for not only the local economy but also sustainability. Sheraton Portsmouth works hard to utilize sustainable practices in both the hotel and restaurant by working with programs like Clean the World, Make a Green Choice and recycling and composting throughout the building.
