Every month the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce holds a meet-and-greet event for Chamber members and guests. Join us tomorrow, Thursday, July 24th, for the Port Inn Portsmouth's 6th Annual Business After Hours event, cosponsored by Waterstone Development! This year's theme is Throwback Thursday (#TBT). Guests are encouraged to print and bring a #TBT photo of themselves to the event and the Port Inn Portsmouth will donate a dollar to Portsmouth Youth Cheer for each one.
In the spirit of Throwback Thursday we pulled some classic photos from our archive. Circa 1981, the year we started at what was once called the Port City Motel. Shown are owners Jim and Mark Bouzianis, General Manager Bill MacDonald, and Director of Sales Damien Callahan (before child labor laws).
At this year's event we are featuring culinary delights from some fantastic restaurants (all of which we have been to for blog shoots). Guests can expect great food from Radici, the District, the Portsmouth Gas Light, and Roger's Redliner Diner. Here are some dishes that we promoted in our past blog posts from those restaurants.
Also joining in the fun will be McKinnon's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jaguar Exeter, and parking will be made easy by Atlantic Parking Services. Our featured throwback drink for the event will be the Tom Collins. Thank you to all who will be participating in the event and to everyone who will be attending! Let's see those #TBT photos and remember to have a good time! You can take a look at last year's After Hours blog post if you want to get a taste of what this year's will be like. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for our next post!
